Über Katie
Hi there! I am 24 years old and come from a very small town in Connecticut in the United States. I spent the past nine months teaching English in German public schools with the Fulbright program, and I did a similar English-teaching program in Italy last year. I am very passionate about languages and learning, and I currently speak four languages. Outside of my passion for language, I love to practice jazz and modern dance as well as music, specifically voice. Academically, I also really enjoy studying politics and human rights, and I hope one day to be a diplomat!

I have teaching experience within university, as a teaching assistant for Italian and German, and also as an ESL teacher in both German and Italian public schools. My teaching methodology focuses on positivity and confidence, and I encourage you to make mistakes so that I can help you improve as much as possible. I am a very empathetic person with great patience, and I love to hear from people with different perspectives, experiences and lives from my own. I offer both structured lessons to improve vocabulary and grammar and more informal conversational classes to improve pronunciation and intonation.
