Über Gui
Hi, I'm Gui! I'm a trilingual, U.S. University-trained native Brazilian Portuguese tutor from Brazil, currently studying Artificial Intelligence at JKU Linz. Portuguese is my mother tongue, and I also speak English and Spanish fluently, so I know exactly what it feels like to learn a new language.
I spent my first university years in the U.S. as an honors student at Florida Atlantic University, where I worked as a tutor for 50+ university students and learned how to explain things clearly and adapt to each person's level. I have also worked closely with Brazilian professionals and students abroad, which means I can teach the Portuguese and the cultural context you need for work, travel, and life.
My goal is simple: to help you speak Brazilian Portuguese with confidence through clear conversation and useful vocabulary you can start using right away. My lessons are patient, friendly, and practical, whether you are a complete beginner or already have some Portuguese.

I'm a trilingual, U.S. University-trained native Brazilian Portuguese tutor offering clear conversation and vocabulary lessons for work, travel, and life. My lessons focus on speaking from the very first session, so you learn the Portuguese people really use every day, with grammar explained only when it helps you communicate better.
Each lesson starts with a quick goal check and a short warm-up conversation, followed by themed vocabulary and useful phrases (introductions, restaurants, business meetings, travel, and more), guided speaking practice with real-life role plays, and gentle corrections. We finish with a short summary and optional homework. As a tutor with experience supporting 50+ university students, I adapt the pace and explanations to your level and background. Since I also speak English and Spanish fluently, I can explain new concepts in the language that is easiest for you.
Lessons are for beginners to advanced learners: students, professionals, expats, and travelers who want to speak Brazilian Portuguese with confidence.
