Über Nata

Hello, I’m Nata—an international student who grew up in Poland and has spent three years in Italy, one year in the USA, and now one year in Vienna. With three years of one-on-one tutoring experience (from kids to adults) and six months teaching underprivileged children in Cambodia, I know how to make English both clear and fun.

Why you’ll love learning with me:
- Global Perspective: My multicultural journey lets me relate to learners of all backgrounds—whether you’re a fellow expat or a local.
- Proven Track Record: I’ve guided students through school exams, university essays, and everyday conversation with tailored lessons that boost confidence fast.
- Kid-Friendly & Engaging: My time teaching in Cambodia taught me to capture young minds with games, stories, and creative projects—so even the shyest kids speak up and participate.
- Warm & Approachable: Friendly, patient, and always encouraging, I make every session a safe space to make mistakes, ask questions, and celebrate progress.

All is based on invididual needs ( the below paragrph is just an general over view)
1. Teaching Techniques & Methods
- Communicative Approach: Emphasize real-world speaking and listening. We practice dialogues, role-plays, and problem-solving tasks so you build confidence using English in everyday situations.
- Task-Based Learning: Each lesson centers on a meaningful task—planning a trip, debating a current topic, writing an email—so language emerges naturally as you solve a problem.
- Scaffolded Language Support: I introduce new vocabulary and grammar points in context, then guide you through controlled practice (short drills, fill-in-the-blanks) before moving into freer production (open discussion, creative writing).
- Multimodal Input: We alternate between listening to podcasts or videos, reading short authentic texts, and using visuals (images, infographics) to reinforce comprehension and retention.

2. Typical Lesson Structure (60 minutes)
- Warm-Up & Review (5–10 min): Quick conversation or game to revise previously learned items and activate English thinking.
- Presentation (10–15 min): Introduce the day’s key language point (e.g., “future perfect tense”) or theme (e.g., “travel logistics”) through examples and guided discussion.
- Controlled Practice (10 min): Short exercises—matching, gap-fill, sentence transformation—to ensure accuracy and understanding.
- Task or Project (20 min): Real-life activity such as role-playing a customer-service scenario, planning an event, or composing an email. I provide support while you work, correcting gently and encouraging risk-taking.
- Feedback & Consolidation (10–15 min): We review your performance, clarify any questions, and highlight successes. I assign a tailored “micro-homework” task to reinforce learning between sessions.

3. My Special Characteristics as a Teacher
- Empathy & Patience: My experience teaching diverse age groups—from young learners in Cambodia to adult university students—has honed my ability to adapt pacing and explanations to every individual’s comfort level.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Having lived in three countries (Poland, Italy, Austria) and worked with international students, I’m attuned to cross-cultural nuances and can tailor examples to your background.
- Enthusiasm & Energy: I bring genuine excitement to the classroom—through interactive games, realia, and my own passion for travel and storytelling—that keeps motivation high.
- Clear, Constructive Feedback: I highlight strengths first, then offer specific, actionable suggestions (“Try swapping this word for…,” “Next time, reduce your pause before answering”) so you always know how to improve.

4. Who the Lessons Are Aimed At
- Beginners to Advanced (A1–C1): Whether you’re just starting or polishing academic or professional fluency, I adjust content and complexity accordingly.
- Academic & Exam Prep: Support for high-school or university courses, IELTS/TOEFL strategies, essay writing, and presentation skills.
- Professional & Business English: Focus on email etiquette, meeting role-plays, negotiation language, and industry-specific vocabulary.
- Conversation & Pronunciation: For anyone seeking greater confidence and clarity in everyday or travel contexts.
- Specialized Needs: Students with learning differences or those preparing for particular events (conferences, interviews, study abroad) receive customized plans and extra resources.
