Über Gabriella Silvia
My name is Gabriella and I'm half Italian and half Irish. After spending some time in South Korea, I now settled in Berlin. I have been teaching English, Italian and art all over the world while enjoying its beauty. I believe knowledge is joy and I also managed to prepare different teaching methods according to the most comfortable and efficient learning ways of each student. Let's discover, learn and have fun together!

I believe that knowledge, discovery and understanding bring joy and connect people. In particular when it comes to languages and art, the most powerful tools we have to connect and share.
The first thing I do with new students is identifying their goals, needs, problems with the subjects and their preferred way of learning, understanding and memorising (and, of course, what does not work at all for them). This makes me plan the perfect and most efficient and fun program we can follow together.
Each studied subject will be firstly presented generally and it will be followed by resourceful examples, schemes and maps for our visual learners and a lot of practice. I also like adding some enjoyable context to the examples, like from music and films and culture.
I always try my best to create a learning experience which is informative and efficient but also inspiring and fun and specific for the needs of the students.
I have experience in teaching different types of students: I followed 10-18 years old students in support of their school activities and in preparation for specific exams but also adults and professionals in support of their private studies as hobbies or for exams.
