I can offer lessons in piano and music theory, or a combination of both. In recent years, I have developed my own pedagogical approach to music theory that focuses on play, improvisation and hearing. Concepts are explained through actual music examples, where we build understanding gradually adapted to the student's level.
In piano lessons, the focus is on practice technique so that the student can learn effectively on his own. Teaching is tailored to the student's interests and level, and many different ways of working can be explored. For example, there may be a focus on note-based music, chord-based music or improvisation. It can also be a combination of these.
