Über Rakshana
Hi everyone! I’m Rakshana, an ESL/EFL teacher from India, and I’m so excited to be part of your English-learning journey!
I’m TESOL-certified, and I’ve taught a wide range of learners — from teens in secondary school to adults in FE college and ESOL programmes in London.
I have an international diploma in TESOL/TEFL specializing in Business English and also have a Master’s degree in Astrophysics from Queen Mary University of London, and my teaching journey began there. Since then, I’ve worked as a Learning Support Assistant, Cover Supervisor, Nursery Assistant, volunteer astronomer and even a Student Ambassador — all roles that strengthened my communication, teaching, and classroom management skills. My interest in teaching English, first began when I started helping my Chinese and Korean friends in London, learn English. It brought me immense joy when I could see them communicate a little better everyday. It made a lot of lives easier.That's when I wanted to help a lot of people learn English. I can't wait to help you all learn and enjoy English in a fun and practical way!
