Über Natasha
Natasha started piano at 4yo; a few years later she was training professionally as a concert pianist. Having completed her certification grades and Diplomas at a young age of 17, she went on to be the youngest winner of the NSW Chopin Society Award with her interpretation of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 through the NSW State Championship Concerto Competition. Having also been equally academically driven, she was additionally given the opportunity to study with the Melbourne Dental School. However, with numerous prizes and music scholarships awarded to her, she continued her education with the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, completing her Bachelors in Music/Criminology, followed by a Masters in Music (Research). During her training, she was a student of the Australian Institute of Music, Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Her technique today is a conglomeration of a number of years of training by distinguished pianists and pedagogists: Professor Viktor Makarov, Professor Ian Holtham, Dr. Mikhail Solovei, Professor Ronald Farren-Price, Clemens Leske and Lyall Duke. Since graduation, she was a finalist in the 2014 Australian National Piano Award and, in the following year, was approached by the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations for a Unity Project. She spent a further 2 years training as a Registered Music Therapist (Melbourne University), which she completed her last placement in India with the Children In Need, Calcutta. As a music therapist, she specialised in the work of Palliative Care. During that time, she also completed a Certification in Peacebuilding with the School for International Teaching in Vermont, U.S.A. Going under her artist name, Aksuna, she now focuses on consolidating the virtuosic facets of piano techniques with the unique quality of storytelling in her original compositions. Bowing to inspirations drawn from the great masters such as Chopin, Debussy, Rachmaninoff and today’s composers for film and games - John Powell, Hans Zimmer, Jeremy Soule (to name only a few), she strives to combine sensitive technical virtuosity with the moody and emotional atmosphere in her compositions. Love Child is the first album of such creations, and hopefully with many more to come. (versteckte Information)

“I have to say Natasha is the only person that inspires and guides me to feel the beauty of piano. She not only taught me technical skills, but also supported me in the anxiety sometimes I experience with piano performance. I never ever have been willing to perform in front of an audience. However, with Natasha's encouragement, I finally did it! Furthermore, during the pandemic lockdowns in Melbourne, Australia, I was pleasantly surprised that online piano classes with Natasha were very effective. I can see that she had put in lots of effort and her quality of teaching standard doesn't miss a mark even when we were not able to have face-to-face lessons. Any time when I have moments of confusion with the score, she can continue to deliver clear explanations patiently. Her multiple use of different devices for different angles and sometimes the extra videos post-lesson were very helpful for preparing me for my graded exam. Natasha is the best piano teacher I have ever had and I highly recommend her." - Deffy, 17 yo. Learning an instrument, just like learning languages, takes time, patience and persistence. But it also takes a teacher with the right expertise and mind-frame to address problems concerning motivation, confidence and persistence, whilst also having the technical expertise to help you navigate through any technical problems. I'm here to help. I teach with a framework in positive psychology. I combine my background as a concert pianist with music therapy, to deliver the best student-orientated lessons. This was my specialty back in Australia, and now I offer it in Germany to anyone who seeks this help, particularly if you are also after learning English on the way!

I've been learning English with Natasha and she makes it fun, realistic and practical. I know that with her, I'm learning English that's spoken in the real-world. She's kind, down-to-earth and attentive. When she sees that it's too easy for me, she'll make it more challenging and keeps me on my toes. She's great, and learning English is a great experience with her!
My son's been learning English with Natasha for the past year and he's improved so much! He does English at school but lessons with Natasha has lifted his level. She teaches him phrases that native-speakers use, colloquial expressions and has improved his confidence so much. You will not go wrong, going with Natasha for English lessons!
Natasha has taught my daughter for 6 years and online for the last 2 years after she moved to Germany. She was highly sought after in Melbourne, and we miss her. But through online learning, this is still possible, and we are so happy that we can continue with Natasha. She's considerate, trustworthy, highly educated, skilled and has a way with people. I cannot recommend her enough!
I've been learning online with Natasha since the Melbourne lockdowns in Australia. She's not only competent, technically-skilled, but has a way to make learning piano more fun, easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend her!
