Über Kelsey Heather
I’m an experienced and dedicated English teacher with more than ten years of teaching experience in Italy, France, and online, working with students from diverse international backgrounds, including Switzerland, Germany, Japan, and China.
Over the years, I have taught learners of different ages, levels, and learning objectives, both in the classroom and in individual online lessons. My experience includes teaching Oxford English, Cambridge English, and Trinity syllabuses, as well as designing lessons specifically around the needs and interests of individual students.
I believe that excellent language teaching is both structured and personal. Every student has a different motivation for learning English, whether it is achieving academic success, preparing for an examination, developing professional communication skills, traveling, or simply becoming more confident in everyday conversation. I therefore take the time to understand each student’s goals and adapt my approach accordingly.
I particularly value lessons that connect English with a student’s own interests and experiences. By incorporating relevant topics and authentic communication into lessons, I aim to make learning both intellectually stimulating and genuinely enjoyable.
My approach is supportive, attentive, and purposeful. I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions, and learn from mistakes in a positive environment. My aim is not simply to teach English, but to help each student develop the confidence, independence, and practical skills to use the language naturally and effectively.
