My name is Leonardo and I’m a passionate math and physics tutor with recent, firsthand experience in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. I achieved 6 points in both Math AA HL and Physics HL, and I’m about to begin my studies in Pure Mathematics at the University of Neuchâtel.

In my lessons, I focus on building a strong conceptual understanding before moving on to problem-solving. I explain topics step by step, using examples and visual aids when helpful, and adapt my teaching style to the student’s learning pace and needs.
A typical session begins with reviewing key concepts or homework, followed by guided exercises and gradually moving toward independent problem-solving. I encourage students to ask questions and think critically, helping them gain confidence and develop effective strategies.
What sets me apart is that I’ve recently completed the IB myself, so I understand the challenges students face and can offer relevant tips, study techniques, and exam preparation strategies. I’m fluent in English, French, and Italian, and speak German at B2 level, which helps me communicate clearly with students from different backgrounds.
My lessons are ideal for students from lower secondary up to the IB level who need support in mathematics or physics, whether they are struggling with the basics or aiming for top grades.
