Je suis professeur particulier de mathématiques depuis plus de 10 ans, avec un solide parcours académique en mathématiques et en sciences.
J’ai obtenu le Baccalauréat International en 2017 avec 45/45, avec Mathématiques, Physique et Chimie au niveau supérieur (HL). J’ai ensuite étudié les mathématiques à l’Université d’Édimbourg, où j’ai obtenu un Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) in Mathematics.
Au fil des années, j’ai accompagné des élèves suivant des cursus et ayant des niveaux très variés, de ceux qui avaient besoin de reconstruire leurs bases jusqu’à des élèves ambitieux de l’IB visant d’excellents résultats. J’ai notamment accompagné un élève d’IB Mathematics AA SL qui est passé d’un niveau correspondant environ aux notes 2–3 à une note finale de 6/7.
Ce que j’apprécie particulièrement dans les cours particuliers, c’est de voir un élève devenir progressivement capable de résoudre des problèmes sans mon aide. Les mathématiques peuvent sembler intimidantes lorsque certaines bases ne sont pas claires, mais avec les bonnes explications et une véritable compréhension, elles peuvent devenir logiques, accessibles et même agréables.
J’enseigne en français et en anglais, en ligne ainsi qu’en présentiel dans la région genevoise.

I am a mathematics tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience and a strong academic background in mathematics and the sciences.
I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma in 2017 with 45/45, studying Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at Higher Level. I later studied Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh, where I obtained a Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) in Mathematics.
Over the years, I have worked with students following a wide range of programmes and ability levels, from students rebuilding their mathematical foundations to ambitious IB students aiming for high grades. One student I supported in IB Mathematics AA SL progressed from approximately grades 2–3 to a final grade of 6/7.
What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students become increasingly capable of solving problems without my help. Mathematics can feel intimidating when the foundations are unclear, but with the right explanation and enough genuine understanding, it can become logical, manageable and even enjoyable.
I teach in English and French and work with students online and in the Geneva area.

Mes cours sont axés avant tout sur la compréhension plutôt que sur la mémorisation de méthodes. Je commence par identifier ce que l’élève maîtrise déjà, les éventuelles lacunes et ce qui l’empêche de progresser. J’adapte ensuite mes explications, mes questions et les exercices au profil de chaque élève.
J’encourage les élèves à réfléchir et à résoudre les problèmes eux-mêmes plutôt qu’à simplement me regarder faire. Lorsqu’une notion ne paraît pas claire, je l’aborde sous un autre angle jusqu’à trouver une explication qui ait du sens pour l’élève. L’objectif est de développer progressivement le raisonnement mathématique, la confiance et l’autonomie.
Pour les élèves qui préparent des évaluations ou des examens, nous travaillons également la stratégie de résolution, l’utilisation efficace de la calculatrice lorsque cela est pertinent, la reconnaissance des types de questions, la rédaction du raisonnement mathématique et l’analyse des erreurs.
J’enseigne les mathématiques au niveau secondaire, la Maturité suisse ainsi que l’IB Mathematics AA & AI aux niveaux SL et HL, en ligne ou en présentiel dans la région genevoise. Les cours peuvent servir de soutien régulier, à combler certaines lacunes, à préparer des examens ou à aider un élève ambitieux à viser de meilleurs résultats.English
My lessons are built around understanding rather than memorising procedures. I first identify what the student already understands, where the gaps are, and what is preventing them from progressing. From there, I adapt my explanations, questions and exercises to the individual student.
I encourage students to think through problems themselves rather than simply watching me solve them. When something does not click, I approach it from a different angle until we find an explanation that makes sense to them. Over time, the goal is to develop stronger mathematical reasoning, confidence and independence.
For students preparing for assessments or exams, we also work on problem-solving strategy, efficient use of the calculator where appropriate, recognising common question types, communicating mathematical reasoning clearly and learning from mistakes.
I teach secondary-level mathematics, Swiss Maturité and IB Mathematics AA & AI at SL and HL, both online and in person around Geneva. Lessons can be used for regular support, filling gaps in understanding, exam preparation or helping ambitious students reach higher grades.
